Great thanks to Todd Seeley and the City of Half Moon Bay public works department, and also the Half Moon Bay Soil Farm for providing and delivering mulch to the Junior Land Stewards garden plots in preparation for our Wavecrest work day next Saturday, May 21. This was no small feat, and we thank you all for this good work.
Don’t forget to join us on the coastal prairie for a habitat restoration workday at Wavecrest Open Space on Saturday, May 21 from 10:00am- 12:00pm PDT. We are excited to be back in person and tending the earth together again. We have missed seeing our dedicated supporters (old and new) in person. We'll be removing invasive plants around the Junior Land Stewards plots, and some additional spots. Meet at the Smith Field ballparks at the end of Wavecrest Road in Half Moon Bay. Wear layers, sturdy shoes, and sun protection. All ages welcome and encouraged. Under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
