What is your legacy vision?
Legacy gifts are important to all land trusts. They are the best way to make sure conservation of land continues in perpetuity. Your will and living trust are important ways to ensure this legacy.
Gifts of liquid assets and land through wills and living trusts are easy to arrange, and can be changed by you at any time as your circumstances change. These are good ways to enjoy peace of mind, knowing that your assets and land will help to preserve and protect the Coastside for present and future generations.
There are a many ways to do this for CLT. You may wish to specify that CLT receives a specific dollar amount, a particular asset, or a percentage of your estate. Or, you can specify that CLT is to be a beneficiary only if you outlive your heirs.

Jim Blanchard and Terry Sweeney are both members of the Coastside LandTrust (CLT) Advisory Committee.
