Join us on Saturday, May 16th for the Songbird & Seabird Workshop and Walk!

Seabird & Songbird Workshop:
Coastside Land Trust welcomes world-renowned birder Alvaro Jamarillo as he presents Songbirds & Seabirds of the Coastside through an entertaining workshop. Learn about behavior, field marks, ecology and migratory patterns of local birds during the workshop.

When: Saturday, May 16th 1-2:30pm
Where:  Coastside Senior Center - 925 Main Street, Half Moon Bay, CA 94019
Parking:  Street parking is available on Main Street. You may also park in any non-numbered parking space that belongs to the building.  

Seabird & Songbird Walk:
Join expert birders from the Sequoia Audubon Society for a guided walk at the Wavecrest property in Half Moon Bay. Guided walks will be in small groups and explore coastal prairie and coastal scrub habitats.

When: Saturday, May 16th 3-5pm
Where: Wavecrest in Half Moon Bay
Parking: Park at Smith Field on Wavecrest Road in Half Moon Bay.

Pescadero Marsh Walk:

One of the largest fresh water estuaries along the central coast Pescadero Marsh is rich in both shore and song birds. Egrets and Heron species nest here and are local residents. Significant numbers of wading shorebirds stop over here during migration. Led by experienced local birders from the Sequoia Audubon Society. Meet at the parking lot on the west side of Highway 1 just south of the Pescadero Creek bridge. Please see this google map for directions.

Please note: Tickets must be purchased in advance and tickets for the workshop and walk are sold separately.
